In December 2018, transactions for the sale of 17,366 m3 of timber under short-term contracts were concluded via the ETTS, which is a 6% increase compared to November. Over one month, the financial value of the transactions increased by 10% and amounted to EUR 717,153.
In December, trade in TOP5 timber assortments accounted for 79% of the total timber sales, i.e. 13,733 m3, and compared to the figure recorded in November, this was a 30% increase.
The weighted price of TOP5 timber assortments grew by 5% in December – from 39.56 EUR/m3 to 41.50 EUR/m3. The growth of the weighted price is associated with the changed share of the TOP5 timber assortments in the total volume of concluded transactions.
