Quotations of BALTPOOL Exchange included in international reviews
From now on biomass prices of the Lithuanian Energy Exchange BALTPOOL will be quoted in the monthly publication Forest Energy Monitor prepared by the British company Hawkins Wright Ltd. for the international biomass market participants.

‘It is one more step towards the implementation of our goal to become an international biomass trading centre of our region. From now on participants of the Lithuanian and neighbouring markets will be able to objectively compare the formed and forming prices in our region with the supply and demand trends of biomass in other countries, and the publicly announced wood chips and wood pellets price quotes will increase the interest of biomass producers and buyers in the trade on BALTPOOL Exchange’, the CEO of BALTPOOL Andrius Smaliukas states.
3 buyers and 16 sellers of biomass from Latvia, which successfully supply Lithuanian heat producers with fuel, have already registered on BALTPOOL Energy Exchange by now.
Hawkins Wright Ltd., which prepares international biomass reviews, has been operating in this business sector for 35 years already and is a globally recognised British company that offers market analyses, strategic business consulting and preparation of business plans. Its insights may have an impact on wood chips and wood pellets supply and demand both on the regional and international level.
