September 2018 Overview of Timber Trading

In September 2018, transactions for the sale of 27,971 m3 of timber were concluded via the ETTS, which is a 61% increase compared to August. The financial value of the transactions increased by 1.5 times and totalled EUR 1,402,454.
To present timber trade trends, BALTPOOL UAB identified TOP5 assortments traded via the ETTS. In the course of 2018, trade in these TOP5 assortments accounts for an average of 72% of the total amount under short-term transactions, and analysis of changes in their trade will allow for a more objective evaluation of the changes in the timber market.
