About ETTS
The purpose of the Electronic Timber Trading System (ETTS) is:
- Efficient provision of information on the electronic expanse about assortments of raw timber and timber harvesting residues (henceforth Timber) produced in the State-owned forests, to be sold on Timber auctions and sales terms and conditions for the buyers of Timber;
- Acceptance of Timber buyers’ bids electronically;
- Execution of Timber wholesales auctions electronically;
- Announcement of the results of Timber sales auctions.
Information for participants
We would like to inform you that, by decision No. 1092 “Regarding appointment of the administrator of the electronic timber trading system” of 20 December 2017 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, BALTPOOL UAB was appointed as the administrator of the ETTS as of 1 January 2018.
We also would like to inform you that, pursuant to the Description of the Procedure of Trade in Raw Timber and Timber Harvesting Residues Produced in State-Owned Forests that is effective as of 1 January 2018, the principles of trade in timber remain the same and only the party administering the trade and the related provisions of the rules change.
