Turnover of BALTPOOL biomass exchange exceeds EUR 100 million

On 8 November 2016, the turnover of BALTPOOL biomass exchange exceeded EUR 100 million (from the date of establishment). Since the summer of 2013, a total of 717,000 TOE (tonnes of oil equivalent) of biomass were sold via the exchange. This quantity would be sufficient for Lithuania to produce thermal energy and hot water for one year.
